Daren R. Anderson, MD

Dr. Anderson came to CHC in 2000 as a National Health Service Corps Scholar/Internal Medicine physician and now serves as the Chief Medical Officer for Community Health Center, Inc. Dr. Anderson has played a leadership role both at CHC and throughout the nation in the implementation of the planned care model of treating chronic disease. He is recognized as an expert in comprehensive diabetes care and consults nationally and internationally on chronic disease management. Dr. Anderson’s professional and research interests include disease management, underserved populations, and the impact of depression on chronic illness.
Dr. Anderson is a graduate of Harvard College and obtained his medical degree from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
