As part of its annual holiday “Kids In Need” program, Verizon Wireless recently presented a $4,500 HopeLine grant to New Horizons, a non-profit emergency shelter operated by Community Health Center. New Horizons is a member organization of the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and every year provides services and shelter to more than 1,300 individuals and families affected by domestic abuse throughout Middlesex County, CT.
