The Mary Lou Strom Primary Care Center of CHC, Inc. opened in Enfield on October 9, 2007. The center was dedicated to the late Mary Lou Strom, former Mayor of Enfield and lifelong community activist.
The center opened in response to community leaders who had identified the need to for access to quality health services for the town’s residents.
The center was the first of CHC’s sites to open as a “paperless” office with CHC’s conversion the electronic health record system.
The Mary Lou Strom Primary Care Center is the medical home for families in the Enfield community. Services provided at the site include:

• Access to Care is the first point of contact for new patients, welcoming and orienting them to our practice, and helping the patient create a true medical home. Once registered, new patients have access to our “just in time” appointment scheduling. Our Access to Care staff also complete a comprehensive assessment of the patients needs and are able to process applications for medical benefits.
• Family medicine (adult, pediatric, women’s health) under the direction of Marie Vitale, MD.
• Just in time” translation and interpreter services via the “Language Line”
• In-School Dental services in the Enfield Public School System.

The Center is open Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and is available to patients for after hours call.
