Lou Brady is the Site Director for the Community Health Center of Meriden
Lou was born and raised in Springfield, Massachusetts. Lou formed an early connection to the Community Health Center movement; he was a patient of the local health center.
Lou earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. After graduation, Lou went to work for General Foods as a sales representative in Fairfield County in the early 90’s.
Lou began his health care career at Boston’s Beth Israel Hospital, starting as a registration assistant, and working his way up to Practice Administrator. Lou returned to school to get his masters degree in business administration at Northeastern University. Prior to joining Community Health Center, Lou spent six years at Chief Operating Officer for the Lowell Community Health Center in Lowell, Massachusetts.
As director of the Meriden site, Lou oversees a resource that delivers comprehensive care to over 8000 patients. The Meriden site provides primary care, dental care, behavioral health, HIV care, and other services designed to meet the needs of the patient in a complete and integrated way.
