Mr. Vinikas has held senior level developmental and operations positions with innovative health care organizations for over 35 years. He is co-founder and current Chief Operating Officer for Senior Whole Health, a demonstration “senior care organization” providing comprehensive services to an elder dual eligible population – members who are both Medicaid and Medicare beneficiaries. Mr. Vinikas was President and CEO of Core Health, Inc., a healthcare technical and management consulting firm he co-founded in 1996. He was a co-founder of the Boston-based Neighborhood Health Plan and served as its first Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Vinikas also served as Executive Director of the Associated Clinics of Appalachia, Inc., a seven state health care association focused on development of managed care approaches to rural populations. Mr. Vinikas has developed and run a number of non-profit health centers.
