Community Health Center, Inc. Appoints Alyssa Martin As New Horizons Director

Community Health Center, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Alyssa Martin as the Director of New Horizons, a 24/7 service that shelters victims of intimate violence and provides extensive community support, education and outreach to victims of intimate partner violence in Middlesex County.

Alyssa began her journey with New Horizons and CHC as a Community Educator and Volunteer Coordinator. Alyssa graduated with an MA in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Brandeis University.

As the Director of New Horizons, Alyssa will be responsible for all aspects of New Horizons program, from the efficient, effective, and safe operation of the 24-hour Shelter and crisis line to community education and support and court-based victim advocacy services.

“I am thrilled to continue my journey with the Community Health Center as the Director of New Horizons,” Alyssa said. “We have such strong support from the entire Middlesex County community for our effort. I look forward to this opportunity to further our mission of providing emergency shelter to victims and their children, but also working every day to end intimate partner violence in Middlesex County and beyond.”
