CHC hosted a “Student Skip Day” event to administer the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to students from East Hartford High School and CREC Schools at the mass vaccination site located at Pratt & Whitney Runway. By April, CHC had administered more than 350,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. Governor Ned Lamont, Lieutenant Governor Susan Bysiewicz, Senator Richard Blumenthal, East Hartford Mayor Marcia Leclerc and representatives from East Hartford High and CREC attended the event to celebrate the students.
