Margaret Flinter spearheaded the establishment of the Weitzman Institute to transform the delivery of primary care through research, technology, education, and innovation. The Institute is named in honor of Gerard Weitzman, a local community pharmacist who was among the first members of the Middletown community to offer support for opening a free clinic for the poor and underserved.
