MIDDLETOWN, Conn., December 2, 2019: Community Health Center, Inc. (CHC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Duyet Tran, MD as its first full-time pediatrician in the Middletown office. Dr. Tran joins CHC’s growing pediatric practice and will be located at 675 Main Street.

Dr. Tran comes to CHC from Manchester Pediatric Associates, where he served as a pediatric primary care provider throughout northern Connecticut. A member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, he graduated with a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Dallas and received his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. His pediatric residency was performed at Maimonides Infants & Children’s Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.

Dr. Tran has volunteered as a medical provider in the aftermath of natural disasters, including relief efforts following Hurricane Sandy and various tornadoes that have struck the Midwest.

“It is a privilege to work with children. They are genuine. They are cheerful. And, they always seem to keep a smile on their face no matter what the ailment,” said Dr. Tran. “I went to medical school to become a doctor for kids, and look forward to meeting the children of this community and providing them with the best care possible.”

“CHC has a long history of providing pediatric services to children in our community,” said Mark Masselli, Founder/CEO of Community Health Center, Inc. “We know the importance of parents having access to pediatric experts and are excited that Dr. Tran will be providing that expertise to our young patients right here in Middletown.”
