DANBURY — The Community Health Center has expanded its COVID-19 testing to seven days a week in Danbury and several other communities.

Testing will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. In most locations, testing had only been available on weekdays.

The Danbury testing site is at Western Connecticut State University’s Westside Campus. The Community Health Center facilities in Stamford, Norwalk, Waterbury, Meriden, Middletown, Bristol, Hartford and New Britain are also available seven days a week.

The health center offers free drive-up and walk-up testing to children and adults of all ages. Individuals do not need to have symptoms, a referral or make an appointment to be tested. Results are generally available in two to three days.
