Community Health Center, Inc. Administers 400,000th Vaccine Dose

Connecticut’s largest COVID-19 vaccine provider, Community Health Center, Inc. (CHC), today administered its 400,000th vaccine dose at its Wesleyan mass vaccination clinic at 75 Vine Street, Middletown. Glendys Sarmiento of East Haven received the milestone dose.

All CHC vaccine locations statewide, including its mass vaccination sites in Danbury, East Hartford, Middletown, and Stamford and pop-up community clinics, are offering the COVID-19 vaccine without an appointment to Connecticut residents, 7-days per week, 8:30am-4:00pm. CHC is administering tens of thousands of shots each week while providing vaccine access to underserved communities.

With all people 16 years and over eligible for vaccination, CHC is working with high schools, school districts, and colleges and universities statewide to accommodate students at dedicated events, to help ensure students are protected and can end their year with traditional activities such as prom and graduation.

“Reaching the 400,000 vaccine dose milestone at CHC is a result of everyone in our state working together to defeat the virus,” said Mark Masselli, CHC Founder/CEO. “We salute the hard work and diligence of our staff, National Guard, and all the state and local partners on the front lines to get thousands of people vaccinated daily.”
