Monkeypox Vaccine

The Connecticut State Department of Public Health has provided CHC with a limited number of doses of the JYNNEOS vaccine for Monkeypox. Per the State of Connecticut, CHC can administer the Monkeypox vaccine to high-risk individuals at our sites in Bristol, Clinton, Danbury, Enfield, Meriden, Middletown, New London, Norwalk, Stamford (Fifth St.) and Waterbury.

Who can receive a Monkeypox vaccine at a CHC main site?
Individuals identified as high-risk by the State of Connecticut.

Who is considered high-risk per the State of Connecticut?
Patients who live in CT (including persons stationed and resident students/trainees at colleges/universities/vocational programs in CT) AND

  • Had a sexual partner in the past 14 days who was diagnosed with monkeypox; OR
  • Had multiple sexual partners in the past 14 days in a jurisdiction (e.g., city/state/country) with known monkeypox.

Are non-CHC patients eligible?
Yes, if deemed eligible per screening questions.
