Amid ‘onslaught,’ CT books 100,000 COVID vaccination appointments on first day of expanded eligibility

Amid an “onslaught” of new people seeking COVID vaccines, Gov. Ned Lamont said the state saw 100,000 new appointments booked Thursday on the first day all Connecticut adults became eligible.
