Community Health Center, Inc. Names Four New Leaders

Community Health Center, Inc. (CHC) is pleased to announce the addition of four new members to its leadership and senior staff teams: Alyssa Cunningham as General Counsel, Lisa Avellino as Chief Information and Technology Officer, Stacie Kelly as Vice President of Development and Fundraising, and Valerie Eastwood as Compliance and Privacy Officer.

Alyssa joins CHC with nearly 20 years of experience focused on health care, compliance, and privacy. Prior to joining CHC, she served in several capacities at UConn Health/John Dempsey Hospital, most recently as Assistant Vice President, Healthcare Compliance and Privacy.

Lisa has more than 18 years of leadership experience in the IT field. She was previously responsible for business app management, informatics, security program development, and Epic production controls at Yale New Haven Health System.

Stacie brings more than a decade of successful frontline fundraising experience to her new role at CHC, most recently as Senior Director of Planned Giving at Fairfield University. Previously, she held a leadership position in the development office at Brown University and created fundraising programs at nonprofit organizations in Denver, Colorado.

Valerie is a seasoned compliance specialist and healthcare attorney with 25 years of legal experience in government, private practice, and corporate roles. Prior to joining CHC, she served as Chief Compliance Officer and Privacy Officer at Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute, a statewide oncology practice group of 500 clinical professionals in 100 locations throughout Florida.
